What Is CrossFit?
CrossFit is Constantly Varied Functional Movements performed at High Intensity. It is a mixture of Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Cardiovascular Endurance. CrossFit develops fitness in the 10 components of physical fitness: Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
Do I Have To Be Fit To Join?
As coaches, we hear this all the time – the answer is a loud NO! You do not need to be fit to start CrossFit. A supportive CrossFit coach will teach you how to move and adjust all workouts to your current fitness level when you begin training. At CrossFit Release – our programming has 3 levels to choose from, and these can be tailored further to suit the individual.

CrossFit is effective because the varied workouts prevent plateauing and keep participants engaged, while the emphasis on community and accountability provides motivation and support.
